Participants and criteria
OESC is designed for young professional chamber music ensembles and for ensembles consisting of Bachelor and Master students (from duo to nonet, for all classical instrumentalists).
OESC will invite a maximum of 20 young musicians, to ensure the best experience for all participants.
Criteria
- Enrolment in (or recently graduated from) a conservatory
- Age between 18 and 32 years, on September 1, 2022
- Two letters of recommendation from teachers/performers
- Video link of 30 minutes with contrasting repertoire
- A minimum of 50 minutes of repertoire, ready for performance.
Enrolment starts with an E-mail message to Artistic Director Henk Guittart at: henk.guittart@orlandofestival.nl.
He will then guide you through the application process. The deadline for applications is May 1, 2022. Decisions will be communicated to all applicants by Monday, May 16, 2022.
